Enter Our Youth Month Contests!
Celebrate Youth Month with Metro Plus by joining our fun and creative contests, open throughout April!
- Coloring Contest (Ages 3–12): Young artists are invited to bring their creativity to life with our “Color Your Money Smart World” theme. Participants may choose from a selection of themed coloring sheets and will be grouped by age (3-5, 6-8, and 9-12). One winner from each age group will receive a prize!
- Storytelling Contest (Ages 7–14): Kids can share their imagination and financial smarts through our “How I’ll Be Money Smart” storytelling contest. Choose one of the following prompts:
- Saving Adventure: Write a story about a character who learns the value of saving for something special.
- Budgeting Challenge: Tell a story about a character who creates a budget to reach a goal, like planning a party, taking a trip, or buying something important.
- Dream Career Journey: Imagine your future career and explain how being money smart helps you achieve it.
You could be eligible for one of the following prizes by submitting!
- 1st Place: Gift card and a featured spotlight on our website, social media, and newsletter
- 2nd & 3rd Place: Small prizes
- All participants: Certificate of participation​
How to Enter
Be sure to include your name on your completed coloring sheet or story, then drop it off by April 30, 2026 to our new location at 1565 McGrathiana Parkway Lexington, KY. Winners will be announced on May 22nd, 2026!
